Weronika Roman – actress, singer, and native English speaker (born in New York City), currently based in Warsaw. She holds dual citizenship and works as an actress on both sides of the Atlantic, combining stage and screen experience from the USA and Europe.
Her vocal range spans from alto to soprano, and she captivates audiences with her energy, warmth, and spontaneity. Her artistic DNA can be summed up in three words: sun, dog, and skyish. She loves contrasts: the charm of the Polish countryside and the allure of American beaches.
On stage and on set, Weronika moves with ease between lighthearted, improvised performances and emotionally charged, dramatic roles. She has a soft spot for romantic comedies, with Bridget Jones’s Diary being her favorite in the genre. In improvised theatre (Granda Teatr Impro), she thrives on surprising both herself and the audience with spontaneous moments. At the same time, she has a deep love for dramatic scenes – raw, visceral performances that stay with the viewer.
The three films that define her most are Life is Beautiful, La La Land, and Requiem for a Dream.
