She is a graduate of drama acting at AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków. Dominika is an actress and accessibility coordinator at the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków, and part of the “Network of Leaders and Accessibility Leaders 2020”. She uses Polish Sign Language (PJM) and explores its possibilities in theatre. Winner of the Journalists Award and the Special Association of Authors ZAiKS award for the best performance of a Polish song at the 41st Stage Song Review in Wrocław. She directed the play “War in Heaven” in Cricoteka with deaf actors which received main award “The Best Off” at the 2nd Independent Theatre Festival The Best Off . She also directed the play “Siostrzeństwo/Sisterhood” at the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków. Co-director (with Zdenka Pszczołowska) of the performance “Romeo and Juliet” at the Juliusz Slowacki Theatre in Krakow (June 2023); the performance is the winner of the Golden Yorick at the 2023 Shakespeare Festival for “Romeo and Juliet (July 2023). Originator and leader of theatre workshops for deaf and hearing people. She is the founder and president of the Migawka Foundation in Krakow.
